What is a wedding walk, you ask? Well, it isn't your typical bridal expo, that's for sure! This FREE, open-house style event has been designed just for you...the newly engaged couple! Invite your family and friends to join you as you learn more about the services area businesses have to offer to help you plan your wedding. This event will give you the opportunity to meet with business owners, sample food and beverages, participate in workshops and attend a fashion show, all while touring downtown Grand Haven.

The Wedding Walk will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 11:00am–3:00pm. You will begin your self-guided tour at the Grand Haven Community Center where you will check-in, receive your Wedding Walk Map and Passport, pick up your Swag Bag (if you pre-registered!) and tour vendor booths. You will then be directed to walk along Washington Avenue to visit the participating downtown businesses. All along the way, you will have your passport stamped by vendors when you visit their booth. Once it is fully stamped, you are eligibe for the prize drawings! The Wedding Walk will end at The Harbourfront Grand Hall (above Porto Bello) where there will be more vendor booths to tour and you can turn in your passport.

The Harbourfront Grand Hall will be hosting an hors d’oeuvres reception and fashion show beginning at 3:00pm. Enjoy some wonderful food while you preview gorgeous dresses presented by September's Bride in Holland. Following the fashion show, we will draw the winners for the fabulous prizes donated by participating businesses! (Remember, you must be present to win.)
