Misc 013Kicked Up Catering was started in Grand Haven, Michigan by Chef Anthony Gonnella as a way to bring new ideas and interesting foods to West Michigan.  If you looking for something with a little more creativity and updated flavors, as well as delicious classic itmes made with fresh ingredients, give us try.

Chef Anthony was formally trained by Chef Robert Coe, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (C.I.A) as well as former pastry chef at the Rainbow Room in New York City and Executive Chef at The Hilton at Short Hills in New Jersey. Chef Coe's passion inspired Chef Anthony as he developed his true passion for food during this time.

Chef Anthony has a strong background in Italian & Latin preperation as well as soups, sauces and smoked / BBQ items. All  items are truly authentic and smoked items are done in house (or on-site) using a mix of fruit and alder woods.

006Everyone involved with Kicked Up Catering is a true "foodie" with a passion for the culinary arts and love for making people smile with our friendly nature and incredible dishes.  Chef creates weekly lunch specials to add a continuing selection of new and exciting items.  Everything we make is prepared from scratch.  We use only the freshest ingredients available and source the majority of them from local farms and businesses whenever possible.
