LENTEN FISH FRY IS BACK

0005Starting Friday February 19th and running every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm we will be featuring our full fish fry and BBQ menu . Our Extended hours will continue throughout

the spring and summer with new dinner specials available nightly (please call for specials) Our full dinner menu is available by clicking the deli menu tab on the top left of this page.

Our fish menu will be featuring both perch and grouper dinners as well as other fish and seafood options . The BBQ menu features our famous lemon garlic butter roasted chicken dinners, cherry wood smoked beef brisket, baby back ribs, and pulled pork.

OUR STANDARD MENU WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FROM 10AM TO 3PM

Building pics 030Anthony's Kicked Up Catering was launched in the Grand Haven area to bring a new variety of foods and party ideas to the West Michigan area. It is privately owned and operated by Chef Anthony Gonnella a resident of Grand Haven.  With Chef Anthony's extensive schooling and experience in catering as well as full service dining on both the East and West Coasts, you are guaranteed to find something new and exciting to Kick Up your next event.

Additionally, you can visit our lunch restaurant / gourmet delicatessen open Monday - Friday from 10am to 3pm.  Try one of our gourmet deli sandwiches featuring in house roasted meats and fresh baked "Gonnella" bread.  We get our frozen dough from Chicago's own "Gonnella Bakery" then proof and bake our breads fresh daily at our restaurant.  We also feature a full array of baked goods and breads, weekly lunch specials, unbeatable salads, made from scratch soups 3-4 daily, and boxed lunch delivery to local businesses from Muskegon to Holland.

A typical perception is that catered food is fairly bland and tasteless.  Unfortunately that's all to often true.  In fact, the majority of catered foods are commercially processed - what we call "heat and serve".  While this may be suitable for some palates, we like to kick things up a bit. "I believe catered food should taste like it was made in your favorite restaurant - not in a cafeteria"

And tasting is even better! At Kicked Up Catering, we take as much pride in the way our food looks as we do the taste. Most people eat with their eyes first and their pallet second. If it looks tasty we are excited to take the first bite.

We understand how difficult choosing the right company to handle your catering needs can be. Additionally we understand the difficulties involved in choosing the menu for your event is when you have never tasted any of the items before. Our unique catering business has one large advantage in that we do have a dining room open to the public for lunch daily from 10am-3pm. Chef Anthony and his crew are happy to invite you in for a tasting prior to making any menu decisions. With advanced notice and a small charge to cover the items prepared, you can sample some of the items you may be interested in and base your decision making on taste rather than description.

Call today to schedule a tasting. We would love to show you can some of your delicious menu selections prior to your event.  The cost of any tasting will be arranged prior to your appointment.  Many of our items are available in our restaurant daily and may not require a scheduled tasting.  Just stop in Monday through Friday from 10-3 and try any of the items found on our daily menu


OUR OFF-SITE VENUES

New Fricano's Event Center in Muskegon

Anthony's Kicked Up Catering is now a preferred caterer at the brand new Fricano's Event Center featuring accommodations for both small parties 25-50 people as well as large events up to 600 people.  We are also now a feature caterer at the new Seven Steps Up Event Center in Spring Lake.  Both venues are absolutely beautiful and do have a full bar available.  Plated dinners, cocktail parties, buffets, and receptions are available. 2009 SALMON FEST

Thanks for all your local support at this years Salmon Festival.  After taking home best presentation in our first attempt in 2008 we came back fighting in 2009 with our smoked salmon blue cheese jalapeno poppers.  The response was overwhelming as we took home both the Peoples Choice Award as well as Most Creative Dish.  We could not have done this without all the local support we continue to recieve every day at out restaurant and elsewhere.
